Postal Technical Officer Level 4 – Salary Advancement Conditions. 11.11.1 Advancement to the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th salary points of the Postal Technical Officer 4 (PTO4) classification will be conditional on an employee obtaining a Certificate IV in Electrotechnology (Systems Electrician) or equivalent qualification as assessed by an accredited provider engaged by Australia Post for this purpose. Provided that a new PTO4 employee who possesses this qualification or equivalent qualification recognised by Australia Post will commence at the 4th salary point of the PTO4 salary range. A current PTO4 employee who obtains this qualification will advance to the 4th salary point from the date the employee obtains the qualification.
