Renewal Leave for Excellence. 9.14.1 In order to provide faculty members with an opportunity for renewal, the College may, with the approval of the President or delegate, grant unpaid Renewal Leaves of between six (6) and twelve (12) consecutive months, provided the following conditions are met: a) the faculty member is a regular faculty member at commencement of leave granted hereunder; b) i) the faculty member is on the maximum step of the salary range, or
