Repair/Replacement Personal Items. The Employer shall reimburse 7 employees the reasonable cost to repair or replace (whichever is less) employee-owned 8 jewelry, including wristwatches, and cell phones damaged in the performance of the 9 employees' duties. The repair cost or replacement value of any jewelry shall not exceed 10 Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) for each individual item. The repair cost or replacement 11 value of any eyeglasses shall not be subject to a maximum limit for each individual item. 12 In addition, the Employer shall reimburse employees for the replacement cost of 13 Employer owned uniforms which are destroyed while the employee is on duty. Upon 14 payment by the Employer to the employee, or any appropriate third party, of any amount 15 necessary to repair or replace eyeglasses, jewelry or uniforms destroyed, the employee 16 shall assign to the Employer all rights against any third party as appropriate to recover the 17 monies expended for repair and/or replacement. Any money paid or costs incurred 18 pursuant to this section shall not be deducted from the uniform allowances specified in 19 Sections 1 and 2 of this Article. Such reimbursement for damage shall only be made when 20 the loss and/or damage is listed upon the appropriate incident reports. 21

  • Customer Equipment Customer represents and warrants that it owns or has the legal right and authority, and will continue to own or maintain the legal right and authority during the term of this Agreement, to place and use the Customer Equipment as contemplated by this Agreement. Customer further represents and warrants that its placement, arrangement, and use of the Customer Equipment in the Internet Data Centers complies with the Customer Equipment Manufacturer's environmental and other specifications.

  • MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS, OR ALTERATIONS The Tenant shall, at their own expense and at all times, maintain premises in a clean and sanitary manner, and shall surrender the same at termination hereof, in as good condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted. The Tenant may not make any alterations to the leased premises without the consent in writing of the Landlord. The Landlord shall be responsible for repairs to the interior and exterior of the building. If the Premises includes a washer, dryer, freezer, dehumidifier unit and/or air conditioning unit, the Landlord makes no warranty as to the repair or replacement of units if one or all shall fail to operate. The Landlord will place fresh batteries in all battery-operated smoke detectors when the Tenant moves into the premises. After the initial placement of the fresh batteries it is the responsibility of the Tenant to replace batteries when needed. A monthly "cursory" inspection may be required for all fire extinguishers to make sure they are fully charged.
