Common use of Reporting Accidents Clause in Contracts

Reporting Accidents. All employees receiving minor cuts, scratches, etc., will proceed as soon as possible to the First Aid on the day shift, and to the hospital if necessary after 4:15 P.M. All accidents must be reported to the xxxxxxx at once by the injured person when possible. The xxxxxxx will report the accident to the Plant Nurse or Human Resources Department, who will make the necessary report to the Workers' Compensation Board. The Company, as required by WSIB, will submit a Form 7 on the employee’s behalf; a copy of which will be given to the employees. The employee must be given the option, where possible, to sign Form 7 before being submitted to the WSIB.
