Common use of Representative of Contractor Clause in Contracts

Representative of Contractor. Contractor shall, by the Effective Date, designate in 21 writing a responsible officer who shall serve as the representative of Contractor in all 22 matters related to the Agreement and shall inform Authority in writing of such 23 designation and of any limitations upon his or her authority to bind Contractor. 24 Authority may rely upon action taken by such designated representative as actions of 25 Contractor unless they are outside the scope of the authority delegated to him/her by 26 Contractor as communicated in writing to Authority.
