Common use of Request for a Student Teacher Clause in Contracts

Request for a Student Teacher. Any Employee possessing a minimum of a baccalaureate degree, one (1) year of teaching experience in the School District, and at least three (3) years of successful teaching experience in his field who is interested in serving as a supervising Teacher of a student teacher placed in the School District by a college or university may file a written request with his building principal to be considered as a supervising Teacher if any such opportunity develops. However, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as obligating the Employer or its representative to select Employees to serve as such supervising Teachers.
