Request for Adoption Leave. An employee shall provide her/his employer with at least two weeks written notice prior to the commencement of adoption leave. The notice period can be reduced by the mutual agreement of the employee and the employer. The employee shall be eligible for and shall be permitted to commence adoption leave immediately following the adoption.
