Request Procedure. Request for Retraining and Study Leave cannot be received any earlier than April 1 of the year preceding the fiscal year in which the leave is taken. Applications must be received at least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the effective date of the leave. If two (2) semesters or periods of leave outlined above are taken consecutively, they must be requested separately.
