Test procedure Sample Clauses

Test procedure. The engine speed shall be gradually increased from idle to the target engine speed, not exceeding the tolerance band of ±3 per cent of the target engine speed, and held constant. Then the throttle control shall be rapidly released and the engine speed shall be returned to idle. The sound pressure level shall be measured during a period of operation consisting of a maintaining constant engine speed of 1 second and throughout the entire deceleration period. The maximum sound level meter reading during this period of operation, mathematically rounded to the first decimal place, is taken as the test value.

Test procedure. 3.3.1. Drive the vehicle at a speed not lower than 28 km/h. 3.3.2. When the measuring zone has been reached, the vehicle gear is set into neutral, the brake pedal is depressed sharply by a constant force sufficient to cause operation of the ABS on all wheels of the vehicle and to result in stable deceleration of the vehicle and held down until the speed is lower than 8 km/h. 3.3.3. The mean fully developed deceleration between 25 km/h and 10 km/h shall be computed from time, distance, speed, or acceleration measurements.
Test procedure. The field of vision shall be determined by placing powerful light sources at the ocular points and examining the light reflected on the vertical monitoring screen. Other equivalent methods may be used.
Test procedure. 6.1. Where compliance to the requirements of paragraph 5.1. above is demonstrated by providing all required certificates covering all variants and versions of the IWVTA type, no further testing shall be required for the items covered by these certificates. 3 This paragraph shall apply from a date specified by WP.29 after the secure internet database in accordance with Schedule 5 of Revision 3 to the 1958 Agreement is operational and includes this functionality.
Test procedure. 3.3.2.1. The vehicle shall be started up by the means provided for normal use to the driver. The first cycle starts on the initiation of the vehicle start-up procedure. 3.3.2.2. Sampling shall begin (BS) before or at the initiation of the vehicle start up procedure and end on conclusion of the final idling period in the extra-urban cycle (Part Two, end of sampling (ES)). 3.3.2.3. The vehicle shall be driven using the applicable driving cycle and gear shifting prescriptions as defined in paragraph 1.4. of this annex. 3.3.2.4. The exhaust gases shall be analysed according to Annex 4 of Regulation No. 83 in force at the time of approval of the vehicle. 3.3.2.5. The test results on the combined cycle (CO2 and fuel consumption) for Condition B shall be recorded (respectively m2 [g] and c2 [l]).
Test procedure. The DC power supply, voltmeter and ammeter are connected to the measuring points (Typically, electrical chassis and electro conductive enclosure/electrical protection barrier). The voltage of the DC power supply is adjusted so that the current flow becomes at least 0.2 A. The current "I" and the voltage "U" are measured. The resistance "R" is calculated according to the following formula: R = U / I The resistance R shall be less than 0.1 Ω.
Test procedure. The Tested-Device shall be stored for at least six hours at a test temperature equal to 60 ± 2 °C or higher if requested by the manufacturer, followed by storage for at least six hours at a test temperature equal to -40 ± 2 °C or lower if requested by the manufacturer. The maximum time interval between test temperature extremes shall be 30 minutes. This procedure shall be repeated until a minimum of 5 total cycles are completed, after which the Tested-Device shall be stored for 24 hours at an ambient temperature of 22 ± 5 °C. After the storage for 24 hours, a standard cycle as described in Xxxxx 0, Xxxxxxxx 0 xxxxx xx conducted, if not inhibited by the Tested-Device. The test shall end with an observation period of 1 h at the ambient temperature conditions of the test environment.

Test procedure. 2.1. Mount the tyre-and-wheel assembly on the test axle and press it against the outer face of a smooth power-driven test drum 1.70 m ± 1 per cent in diameter having a surface at least as wide as the tyre tread. 2.2. Apply to the test axle a series of test loads expressed in per cent of the load indicated, in Annex 4 to this Regulation, opposite the load index engraved on the sidewall of the tyre, in accordance with the test programme below. Where the tyre has load-capacity indices for both single and twinned utilization, the reference load for single utilization shall be taken as the basis for the test loads. 2.2.1. In the case of tyres with a speed category symbol above P, test procedures are as specified in paragraph 3. 2.2.2. For all other tyre types, the endurance test programme is shown in Appendix 1 to this annex. 2.3. The tyre pressure must not be corrected throughout the test and the test load must be kept constant throughout each of the three test stages. 2.4. During the test the temperature in the test-room must be maintained at a temperature between 20 °C and 30 °C or at a higher temperature if the manufacturer so agrees. 2.5. The endurance-test programme shall be carried out without interruption.
Test procedure. All measurements shall be carried out with uncoloured standard lamps of the types prescribed for the device, adjusted to produce the normal luminous flux prescribed for those types of lamps. 7.1. All measurements on lamps equipped with non-replaceable light sources (filament lamps and other) shall be made at 6.75 V, 13.5 V or 28.0 V respectively. In the case of light sources supplied by a special power supply, the above test voltages shall be applied to the input terminals of that power supply. The test laboratory may require from the manufacturer the special power supply needed to supply the light sources. 7.2. The limits of the apparent surface in the direction of the reference axis of a light- signalling device shall be determined.
Test procedure. A hardened steel mass of 1 kg shall be dropped from a height of 1 m so as to deliver the impact velocity 4.4 m/s. This shall be achieved by mounting the mass in a pendulum. The filling unit shall be installed horizontally on a solid object. The impact of the mass shall be on the centre of the protruding part of the filling unit.
