Common use of Requests for Information Clause in Contracts

Requests for Information. 18.1 Any Request for Information shall reference all applicable Contract Document(s), including Specification section(s), detail(s), page number(s), drawing number(s), and sheet number(s), etc. Developer shall make suggestions and interpretations of the issue raised by each Request for Information. A Request for Information cannot modify the Guaranteed Maximum Price, Contract Time, or the Contract Documents. 18.2 Developer may be responsible for any costs incurred for professional services that District may deduct from any amounts owing to Developer, if a Request for Information requests an interpretation or decision of a matter where the information sought is equally available to the party making the request. District may deduct from and/or invoice Developer for professional services arising therefrom.
