Required Notice and Documentation. 1. The employee shall provide reasonable notice to their employing department of their anticipated return to work. 2. An employee returning from FML for the employee’s own serious health condition may be required to provide a written medical release to return to work from their health care provider prior to returning to work. (For returns after Pregnancy Disability Leave, see Section C.5., below.) 3. Failure to provide a medical release that has been requested may result in the delay of reinstatement until the employee submits the required medical release.
