Common use of Required Use Clause in Contracts

Required Use. 6.1 The Tenant must not use the Premises for any purposes except the Required Use. 6.2 The Council is entitled to make such enquiries as the Council thinks fit, including giving the Tenant an opportunity of explaining the usage of the Premises if at any time the Council is concerned that the Premises is not being used or sufficiently used for the Required Use. The Tenant will be in default of its obligations under this lease if following such enquiries and having considered the Tenant’s explanation the Council reasonably forms the opinion that the Premises is not being so used or sufficiently used. 6.3 The Tenant must not erect, paint, display or allow on the Premises any signs, notices or advertising material unless the Tenant first obtains the written approval of the Council in each case.
