System for Award Management (XXX): means the federal repository into which an entity must provide information required for the conduct of business as a recipient. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI): means the identifier required for XXX registration to uniquely identify business entities. c. Entity: means all of the following, as defined at 2 C.F.R. Part 25, Subpart C: 1) A governmental organization, which is a state, local government, or Indian Tribe; 2) A foreign public entity; 3) A domestic or foreign nonprofit organization; 4) A domestic or foreign for-profit organization; and 5) A federal agency, but only as a subrecipient under an award or subaward to a non- federal entity. d.
