Research Teams. 1. The Project Manager and the Consortium Member’s Representative are obliged to select team members named in the Budget in open competitions. Following the recruitment, the teams conducting R&D works under the Project should consist of at least 2 students or PhD students or young doctors who will carry out the research specified in the Application under the supervision of the Project Manager or the Consortium Member’s Representative. The Project Manager shall provide the Foundation with the personal data of the above-mentioned young scientists within 14 days of the date of completion of each recruitment procedure.
2. In the course of implementation of the Project, the number of young scientists receiving personal scholarships must be consistent with the number specified in the Budget. When a young scientist being a team member loses his or her right to claim a scholarship specified in the agreement referred to in Article 6.5, the Project Manager shall be obliged to notify the Foundation thereof within 7 days.
Research Teams. For all CER teams, it will be very helpful to use this template in concert with the SCoRE Principles for Equitable Community Partnerships. As you see below, this template supports transparency between you and your partner, recognizing that even the most robust partnerships have their limits. It would be virtually impossible for faculty and partners to deeply and authentically understand and operationalize every one of the Principles. So don’t be overwhelmed! Rather, think of your collaboration as a journey, and take one step at a time. If the researchers can only commit to 3 or 4 principles as they are articulated; the partners can then determine which principles they can own as their commitment.
Research Teams. All scientists working in research agencies of the two governments, or in universities of the two countries, are eligible to apply. Each project should have a principal investigator on the U.S. side and on the Spanish side. These should be nationals or residents of the respective countries; teams may include citizens of other countries if this is justified in the research plan. U.S. researchers are reminded that Spain requires a visa for holders of official or diplomatic passports. Spanish researchers will not normally require a special visa.
