RESOLUTION OF GRIEVANCES AND PROBLEMS II.1 PROBLEM RESOLUTION. It is the belief of the parties that the most satisfactory resolution of problems, differences or issues is achieved at the level closest to the worksite in a process of mutual respect and trust. It is, therefore, the intent of the parties that issues and problems shall be resolved at the earliest time and at the closest possible level to the worksite. Employees, supervisors, managers and/or appropriate administrators are encouraged to seek early, informal problem identification, clarification, discussion and resolution.

  • Resolution of Grievances In the event of a grievance related to a matter of discipline or any dispute as to the interpretation, application or observance of the provisions of this Agreement other than discipline, it shall be handled in the following manner:

  • Problem Resolution The parties will endeavour to resolve any problems identified with the operation of this Agreement as they arise.

  • Grievance Resolution If a grievance is resolved at Step 2 or 3 in the procedure as provided herein, the grievant concerned shall indicate acceptance of the resolution by affixing his/her signature in the appropriate space indicated. If the employee has been represented by the Union at the Step of the procedure at which a resolution is reached, the Union representative shall also sign the appropriate document acknowledging that the employee has accepted the resolution. Decisions on grievances where an employee represents him/herself shall not be considered precedent setting or binding with regard to any future grievances filed with respect to the same or similar matters.

  • Disputes Resolution 10:01 Jurisdictional disputes involving workers employed under this Collective Agreement shall henceforth be resolved under the provisions of the Canadian Jurisdictional Disputes Plan in accordance with its rules and regulations and without work stoppage, slow down or other lack of production, and it is further agreed that a jurisdictional dispute shall in no way interfere with the progress or prosecution of work.

  • Complaint Resolution We operate a complaints procedure to enable resolution to complaints; these must be advised in Writing directly to us, to enable our formal complaints process to be applied.

  • Submission of Grievance 1. Before a submission of a written grievance, the aggrieved party must attempt to resolve the grievance informally with the grievant's immediate supervisor.

  • Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right.

  • DISPUTES RESOLUTION PROCEDURE 10.1 A major objective of this Agreement is to eliminate lost time and/or production arising out of disputes or grievances. The Parties to this Agreement are committed to complying with the terms of this procedure.

  • Resolution of disputes and grievances (a) For the purpose of this clause 14, a dispute includes a grievance.

  • Impasse Resolution In the event that there is an impasse in negotiations concerning the negotiation of a new collective bargaining agreement or the mutual amendment of an existing collective bargaining agreement, the parties agree that the resolution of any impasse issues shall be governed by the provisions of Florida Statutes Chapter 447, as amended.
