Response to Request for assistance. Upon receipt of a request for Aid and Assistance from the Evacuating Liaison pursuant to this MOU, the Sheltering Liaison may authorize and direct his/her Sheltering PHF/GACHPU personnel to provide Aid and Assistance to the Evacuating PHF/GACHPU.

Response to Request for assistance. Upon receiving a request for mutual aid assistance, the other jurisdictions participating in the mutual aid agreement shall provide such assistance as they deem consistent with their existing obligations. A jurisdiction providing mutual aid shall retain the right to terminate that aid at any time if it determines such actions are necessary. Termination of aid shall be coordinated and not be conducted in a reckless manner so as to endanger other personnel on scene.

Whether the SOT shall provide such assistance, and the extent of such assistance, shall be determined solely by the SOT Team Manager. Failure to provide assistance in response to a request made pursuant to this Agreement will not result in any liability to the SOT or to any other Party. SOT Team Manager shall notify the Chair or Vice Chair any time the SOT Command consents to provide assistance to a Party, pursuant to this Agreement. If a request is made by a governmental unit not a Party to this Agreement, the SOT Team Manager may provide assistance only with the approval of the Chair or Vice Chair, pursuant to Committee policy.

  • Voluntary Request for Assistance A member may voluntarily enter rehabilitation without a requirement of prior testing. A member who desires Employee Assistance Program (EAP) assistance may notify the City's EAP Administrator. A member who seeks voluntary assistance through his/her own service provider without notifying the City's EAP Administrator will not receive the protections from discipline afforded by this Section 17.11. Any member who does voluntarily seek assistance and who notifies the City's EAP Administrator before the member is asked to submit to a drug or alcohol test or is under investigation for drug or alcohol abuse, shall not be disciplined, but the member must:

They shall be accompanied by the documents necessary to enable compliance with the request.   • Response to Demand Letter Within 10 days after the receipt of the Demand Letter, Xxxxxxxx shall either: (a) cure the breach to OIG’s satisfaction and pay the applicable Stipulated Penalties or (b) request a hearing before an HHS administrative law judge (ALJ) to dispute OIG’s determination of noncompliance, pursuant to the agreed upon provisions set forth below in Section X.E. In the event Xxxxxxxx elects to request an ALJ hearing, the Stipulated Penalties shall continue to accrue until Xxxxxxxx cures, to OIG’s satisfaction, the alleged breach in dispute. Failure to respond to the Demand Letter in one of these two manners within the allowed time period shall be considered a material breach of this CIA and shall be grounds for exclusion under Section X.D.
