Common use of Responsibility Premium Clause in Contracts

Responsibility Premium. (i) An employee who is CNSC Certified and responsible for the operation of the NRU reactor will be paid a responsibility premium equivalent to forty percent (40%) of their base salary. The minimum payment amount will be no less than $35,000. (ii) An employee who is CNSC Certified and is designated to replace an employee who is responsible for the operation of the NRU reactor shall receive an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Responsibility premium to which the employee would have been otherwise entitled to in sub-clause 12.02 (a).
