In Charge Premium. On an evening or night shift from Monday to Sunday, where the Employer designates a Licensed Practical Nurse to be responsible for the building or an Employee is required to be responsible for security of the building or is required to carry a pager or cellular telephone for residence responsibility, or required to carry a pager or cellular telephone for security purposes and conducting security checks in the building, the Employee shall be paid an additional hourly premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) for the full shift. It is agreed that the Licensed Practical Nurse that is designated to be responsible for the building should, where possible, be the most senior Licensed Practical Nurse on duty.
In Charge Premium. The In-Charge premium shall be five percent (5%) above the Journeyman Broadband Network Technician.
In Charge Premium. Effective date of ratification, employees will receive an in charge premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour above their hourly rate for supervising a class in the absence of a teacher or substitute teacher.
In Charge Premium. In absence of all on-site management employees, the most senior employee or the employee in the most senior position within the branch or department who is willing and capable to relieve will be designated to be “in charge”. The employee shall be paid an additional $0.75/hour for each hour that he/she is designated as being in “in charge”. The person designated “in charge” is responsible for opening and closing the building, taking care of the premises, security and direction of other employees.
In Charge Premium. In the absence of a Sergeant, the Employer may appoint an Employee to the role of In-Charge Officer to fill in for the Sergeant as required.
i. Before being assigned to the role of In-Charge Officer in the first instance, an Employee will be advised in writing of the role requirements and the Employer’s expectations of successful performance. Additional training will be provided as the Employer deems necessary.
ii. An Employee may request in writing that they not be assigned to the role of In-Charge Officer. The Employer will take such request under consideration, but ultimately retains the right to appoint as it may deem necessary.
iii. The appointed In-Charge Officer will be paid an in-charge premium of $2.50 per hour above their regular rate for the period of the appointment.

In Charge Premium. Employees designated in-charge shall be compensated $0.70 per hour.

In Charge Premium. Where and when a case manager is assigned charge duties she will be paid an additional three dollars ($3.00) per hour.
In Charge Premium. An employee who is assigned, at any time, to be in charge of other employees during the absence of management, for less than one week, shall be paid an in-charge premium of four dollars ($4.00) where the employee is so assigned for a minimum of three (3) but not more than five (5) hours in a day, and eight dollars ($8.00) where the employee is so assigned for more than five (5) hours in a day.
