Common use of Restriction of Vacation Clause in Contracts

Restriction of Vacation. Where the granting authorities find it necessary to restrict vacation in whole or in part, the employee shall be entitled to receive pay in lieu thereof. Where an employee is called back to work from vacation, the employee shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the rate of double time for each hour so worked. The vacation days worked will be rescheduled as vacation at a mutually agreeable time.
