Common use of Restriction on Contracting Out Clause in Contracts

Restriction on Contracting Out. During the life of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work which has been customarily and routinely performed or is performed by Unit Members which will result in the reduction in regular hours or wages of Unit Members, or which will result in the loss of employment or layoff of Unit Members except by mutual agreement between the Board of Trustees and CSEA.

Restriction on Contracting Out. During the life of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work which has been customarily and routinely performed by employees in the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement unless contracting is made necessary by emergency or is performed specifically required by Unit Members the Education Code, except that the District may contract out any work which will result in does not deprive a member of the reduction in regular hours or wages bargaining unit of Unit Members, or which will result in the loss of employment or layoff of Unit Members except by mutual agreement between the Board of Trustees and CSEAemployment.

During the life of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work which has been customarily and routinely performed or is performed by Unit Members the bargaining unit employees, which will result in have the reduction in regular hours or wages effect of Unit Members, or which will result in the loss of employment or layoff of Unit Members except by mutual agreement between the Board of Trustees and CSEAdisplacing an existing classified employee.

Restriction on Contracting Out. During the life of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work which has been customarily and routinely performed or is performed by Unit Members which will result classified employees in the reduction bargaining unit unless permanent personnel are not available to meet emergencies or normal and recurring employment needs and all other provisions set forth in regular hours or wages of Unit MembersEducation Code 88003.1. The District shall notify the CSEA Chapter President, or which will result designee, in writing of the loss of employment or layoff of Unit Members except by mutual agreement between the Board of Trustees and CSEADistrict’s intention to contract out.
