Retirement Benefit Eligibility. Those licensed employees who retire through the Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System (“TRS”) and who meet the following eligibility requirements shall receive the retirement benefits set forth in Section 2. below.
Retirement Benefit Eligibility. A retiree must be a vested and eligible retiree in the NYS Employee Retirement System in order to qualify for continued health care coverage. Additionally, they must be working for the Town as of their retirement date, and have a minimum of ten years of uninterrupted full-time service with the Town at the time of retirement (involuntary breaks in service, less than one year in duration, will not count as a service interruption).
