Common use of Retroactivity Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Retroactivity Prohibited. Those employees in the bargaining unit employed prior to the effective date of this Agreement shall retain their current seniority date (date of hire or adjusted date of hire, if applicable) as established by DAS or the Board of Regents (BOR) prior to the effective date of this Agreement.
