Common use of RETURN FROM LEAVES OF ABSENCE Clause in Contracts

RETURN FROM LEAVES OF ABSENCE. (A) A bargaining unit member may return to work prior to the expiration of any unpaid leave of absence provided reasonable notice is given by the member, in writing, stating the date, time and place for the member to return. The right to return to work earlier than scheduled is subject to the availability of work in the member's position classification.
