Common use of Reverting to Spareboard Clause in Contracts

Reverting to Spareboard. When a request is made by a Conductor holding a regular assignment for permission to revert to the spare board at North Bay, Xxxxxxxxx or Xxxxxxxx, and such request is approved by the General Chairman, such request will be granted, when possible, on the understanding that such individual so applying must remain on the spare board, until next change of timetable.
