Right to Buy. You have the right to buy the Property in the circumstances set out in part V of the Housing Act 1985.

Right to Buy d If you are a secure tenant and have lived in council accommodation for at least 3 years (or any subsequent revision to this time period) and qualify under the Housing Xxx 0000 legislation, you have the right to buy your home. If you die, the person who takes over the tenancy under the succession rights will also take over the right to buy. However, they must still have held a secure tenancy in their own right for a period of at least 3 years (or any subsequent revision to this time period) before they are entitled to rely on the right to buy.
