Common use of Rights on Return to Work Clause in Contracts

Rights on Return to Work. (a) On return to work from maternity, adoption or parental leave, an Employee shall be placed in his/her former position or in a position of equal rank and salary. (b) The service of an Employee who is on maternity, adoption, or parental leave, shall be deemed to be continuous for purposes of Article 10 – Seniority, Article 12 – Layoff, Article 17 – Annual Leave and Article 24 – Health and Welfare, of this Agreement.
