Risk Management Consultant or Insurance Administrator. Prior to paying Plan expenses on a self-insured basis, the Trustees shall confirm that the City Manager has designated a risk management consultant or insurance administrator licensed pursuant to Title 20, Chapter 2 of the Arizona Statutes, and the Trustees shall further confirm that such license was verified by the Council prior to such designation.

  • CONSULTANT’S INSURANCE The Consultant shall maintain the types of insurance and limits of coverage identified in Exhibit A which is attached and made part of this Contract.

  • DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN Management shall expend for active employees of this unit who are members of LACERS the sum necessary to cover the cost of a basic disability insurance plan.   • Retirement Insurance A teacher retiring from the District and under the provisions of Teachers’ Retirement Association (TRA) is eligible to continue to participate in group insurance programs (health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, supplemental life insurance) as permitted under the insurance policy provisions provided the teacher pay the entire premium for such group insurance programs commencing with the beginning of the retirement (see District Website, Human Resources for specific coverage available). The teacher shall be responsible for paying the monthly premium amounts in advance and on such dates as determined by the District/third party administrator. The right to continue participation in such group insurance programs will discontinue upon the failure of the teacher to pay the premiums to the District/third party administrator, or the expiration of insurance availability under the insurance policy provisions. Since long-term disability insurance coverage replaces salary, and a retiree receives no salary, long-term disability insurance coverage is not available.

  • Subcontractor Insurance In accord with Good Utility Practice, each Interconnected Entity shall require each of its subcontractors to maintain and provide evidence of insurance coverage of types, and in amounts, commensurate with the risks associated with the services provided by the subcontractor. Bonding of contractors or subcontractors shall be at the hiring Interconnected Entity’s discretion, but regardless of bonding, the hiring principal shall be responsible for the performance or non- performance of any contractor or subcontractor it hires.

  • Travel Accident Insurance We agree to provide you with Travel Accident Insurance at no direct cost to you. You, your spouse and unmarried dependent children will be automatically insured against accidental bodily injuries or death while riding in any aircraft or land or water conveyance operated by a common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire provided the full travel fare(s) has been charged to your Account. Death benefits will be paid to the estate of the insured; all other benefits will be paid to the insured. This insurance is subject to cancellation without prior notice.   • Qualified Insurer The policy or policies of insurance must be issued by an insurer with a minimum rating of A- (Secure A.M. Best's Rating) and VIII (Financial Size Category as determined by the most current edition of the Best's Key Rating Guide/Property-Casualty/United States or xxxxxx.xxx). It is preferred, but not mandatory, that the insurer be licensed to do business in the state of California (California Admitted Carrier). If the insurance carrier does not have an A.M. Best Rating of A-/VIII, the CEO/Office of Risk Management retains the right to approve or reject a carrier after a review of the company's performance and financial ratings.   • Primary Insurance Contractor's insurance coverage shall be primary insurance with respect to the Department, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers and shall apply separately to each project or location. Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the Department, its officers, officials, employees, or volunteers shall be excess of Contractor's insurance and shall not contribute with it.
