Common use of ROADWAY CROSSING Clause in Contracts

ROADWAY CROSSING. Where the contract calls for conduit crossings to be installed under existing roadways, the Contractor shall drive these conduits in approved manner. Where permitted, in lieu of driving, the Contractor may cut the pavement and install the conduits as directed. The Contractor shall restore the pavements to the satisfaction of the Engineer. All conduit crossings shall be perpendicular to the roadway.
