ROLE OF COMMITTEE SECRETARY. 11.1 The LHBs acknowledge that the role of the Committee Secretary is crucial to the ongoing development and maintenance of a strong governance framework within the Joint Committee, and is a key source of advice and support to the Chair and Joint Committee members. Independent of the Joint Committee, the Committee Secretary will be required to act as the guardian of good governance within the Joint Committee by: Refer to Standing Orders: The role of the Committee Secretary

  • The Secretary General of ASEAN shall promptly notify all Member States of the notifications or deposit of each instrument of ratification referred to in paragraph 1.

  • Responsibilities of Committee The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over wages or any other matter of collective bargaining, including the administration of this Agreement. The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other committee of the Union or of the Employer and shall not have the power to bind either the Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions.
