Role of the Union Representative. When representing employees under this Article, the role of the Union Representative is to: (a) witness the undertakings, (b) advise the employee of his/her rights and obligations, (c) facilitate the investigation and resolution of a complaint, and (d) act as advocate in appeals and adjudications. The Union Representative will discharge these responsibilities without impeding the investigation and resolution of a complaint.
