Common use of Rotating Shift Work Clause in Contracts

Rotating Shift Work. (5) When, because of operational requirements of the service, hours of work are scheduled for regular and seasonal employees on a rotating or irregular basis, the Employer shall set up a master weekly shift schedule and post it not fewer than fourteen (14) days in advance, which shall run for at least twenty-eight (28) calendar days. This schedule will cover the normal shift requirements of the work area.
