Common use of Route Bidding Clause in Contracts

Route Bidding. Drivers will be notified by the Supervisor of Transportation no later than August lst of each year when to appear and make their choice of bus routes in line of seniority. Routes will be defined as a combination of regular runs (example: high school, elementary, middle, and intermediate schools runs). Such choices are to be made the first full week of August unless otherwise mutually agreed, and will be effective for one (1) school year. An in-service meeting may be held no more than one week prior to the opening of school.
