Jury/Witness Duty Leave. 25.01 This benefit is only applicable to full-time regular employees. The employee will be granted a temporary leave of absence if called for jury or witness service. While serving on jury or witness duty, the employee will be paid the normal basic wage, less the jury duty allowance. The employee must present his/her jury-witness notice to his/her supervisor when aware of the need for the leave for jury/witness duty.

Jury/Witness Duty Leave. A Bargaining Unit Employee who is called to serve as a juror shall receive pay for each workday missed, for up to three (3) days paid leave. A Bargaining Unit Employee who is subpoenaed as a witness in any court shall receive unpaid leave; if, however, the Bargaining Unit Employee is called as a witness in a matter in which the Employer is a Party, the Employee will be paid for that time.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. A teacher who must be absent from school because he/she has been selected for jury duty, subpoenaed to appear or to testify in cases not involving personal litigation or for matters not related to his/her employment shall be paid his/her regular salary by the Board, provided, however, that payments received for such duty are endorsed to the Xxxxxx County School Board. Teachers shall be allowed to keep their travel expense for such duties.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. Employees who serve as a juror shall be paid the difference between the court payment and their regular salary. Evidence of court payment must be remitted by the employee to the Treasurer before the end of the pay period in which the absence occurred or the pay period in which such monies are received, whichever is the later. Adherence to this regulation will result in no loss of salary. If this regulation is not followed, the absence will be deemed a non-paid leave of absence, and any overpayment to the employee may be withheld from the employee’s next paycheck. Any employee subpoenaed as a witness in a court where neither they nor the Board are parties shall be paid the difference between the court payment and his/her regular salary. Evidence of the subpoena and payment shall be presented to the Treasurer. Employees receiving summons for jury duty must present the summons to their supervisor within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. Vital service employees may be excused from service, and the Board reserves the right to request the employee to or itself to make the request to be excused.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. The Employer agrees that any regular employee of the Employer summoned to appear for Jury Duty or selection, or who serves on Jury Duty, or is a subpoenaed witness, shall be paid wages amounting to the difference between the amount paid to them for jury service and the amount they would have earned had they worked on such days with their regular gang. If the subpoena for witness is the result of the employee working on another job, this clause will not apply. In order to qualify for such payment the employee must request leave and have that request granted.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. The City shall pay to an employee called for jury duty or as a witness to a case (wherein the employee is not a plaintiff or defendant in the case) the difference between the regular pay and the juror's pay or witness fee upon presentation of an official statement of pay received. This article does not apply to employees required by the City to appear on behalf of the City at a court hearing; such appearances are covered in Article 24. An employee excused by the Court for any reason shall be required to return to work promptly thereafter, except when arrangements have been made for replacement for a given work period.

Jury/Witness Duty Leave. An employee who is called to serve as a juror, or who is subpoenaed as a witness in any court in any situation involving EmpRes Healthcare shall receive her/his regular pay minus her/his pay as a juror or witness for each work day while on jury duty or while in court as a witness up to a maximum of fifteen (15) paid days.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. Employees must immediately advise their supervisor of receipt of a jury summons. Employees will receive unpaid days of leave for the jury duty period. Eligible employees may use accrued vacation leave. Employees must contact their supervisor and report for their regular duties when excused from attendance in court. A Bargaining Unit Employee who is subpoenaed as a witness in any court shall receive leave to attend such obligation; if, however, the Bargaining Unit Employee is called as a witness for the Employer in a matter in which the Employer is a party, the Employee will be paid for that time.
Jury/Witness Duty Leave. All full-time and part-time employees who are requested, on a regular scheduled work day, to serve on a jury or who are subpoenaed to testify in any action in which the employee will not personally benefit from the results of the litigation, will receive their regular compensation rate minus jury duty pay for a maximum of five (5) days. Notice to report for jury duty or the subpoena must be reported immediately to the Employer. The employee will provide the Employer a copy of the subpoena upon request. If an employee is subpoenaed or otherwise requested to testify as a witness by the Employer, the employee will be paid for the entire period of witness duty. The employee is expected to return to work whenever the court schedule permits.
