Royalty Example. If, by way of example, Net Sales of a given Product in the Territory in a given Calendar Year are [*****], with Net Sales distributed across countries as follows: (a) [*****] Net Sales in countries in which there is a Valid Claim; (b) [*****] Net Sales in countries where the manufacture, use or sale of the Product is not covered by a Valid Claim; and (c) [*****] Net Sales in countries where the Royalty Term for such country has expired; then royalties due under Sections 11.3 and 11.4 for such Product in such Calendar Year shall be calculated as follows: Net Sales on which royalties are due shall be [*****] (= (a) + (b)).
