Section 7.3.1. 2 The first shift shall consist of eight and one-half (8-1/2) hours, for eight (8) hours 3 compensation, including a thirty (30) minute uninterrupted lunch period as near the middle of 4 the shift as is practicable, and also including a fifteen (15) minute first half and a fifteen (15) 5 minute second half rest period, both of which rest periods shall occur as near the middle of each 6 half shift as is practicable.
Section 7.3.1. 24 Bus drivers will be paid a minimum of one and one-half (1½) hours per a.m. or p.m. run, or 25 three (3) hours per route (a.m. and p.m.).
Section 7.3.1. 22 At any time, a regular route is open, the District will notify the regular drivers and open the 23 position for first consideration in accordance with Article X, Section 10.7.
Section 7.3.1. Services employees who work more than a five (5) hour shift are required to take a 40 thirty (30) minute meal break, for which no pay shall be given. Each employee shall be 41 provided breaks and lunch periods as follows:

Section 7.3.1. Employees may apply for District consideration for additional assignments outside their general 8 job classification provided there is no scheduling conflict with their regular assignment.
Section 7.3.1. 33 In the event of an unusual school dismissal due to inclement weather, plant being non- 34 operational, or the like, employees shall be allowed the opportunity to choose one of the 35 following options to make up the time loss attributed to the school dismissal:
