SAFE LOAD ON STRUCTURES. Prior to commencement of maintenance of the bridges, the Contractor shall evaluate and study the condition of the existing structure to determine the type, size, and weight of vehicles and equipment that can be placed on these structures during maintenance. The Contractor shall submit the findings of the evaluation and study to the Engineer for approval. The Contractor shall obtain the approval of the Engineer before any loads are placed on the existing bridge structures. Approval by the Engineer shall in no way relieve the Contractor of its responsibility to fulfill the above requirements.

A Dispute Resolution Process will be established and administered by the ISO Board in accordance with Article 10.
