Safe Workplace. The employer shall endeavour at all times to ensure that members who initiate a complaint under this article are not unduly displaced from their workspace or area as a result of any action by the employer in the investigation or dispensation of actions under the Respectful University policy and procedures. If these actions create a potential unsafe workspace, the employer will immediately rectify the situation; if members need to be removed from the physical space, the employer will consider the relocation of the respondent first. Alternatively, a Sessional Academic Staff member who believes that an alleged violation of this Article creates an unsafe workplace shall be entitled to request a change of physical space or other accommodations without fear of reprisal.
