Common use of Safety Equipment DX Clause in Contracts

Safety Equipment DX. The Employer will provide “safety equipment” as defined in Section 24.4, replaced when necessary under a "DX/Vendor Voucher" system. Upon being presented an item of department-approved safety equipment represented as unserviceable, the Chief of Fire or designee will approve a Vendor Voucher for the item's replacement.
