Common use of Salaries of Substitute Teachers Clause in Contracts

Salaries of Substitute Teachers. A substitute teacher, holding a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate shall receive a daily salary of 1/197 of the bottom of Class IV; a substitute teacher with a temporary certificate shall receive a daily salary of $150.00 (one hundred and fifty dollars). If a substitute teacher teaches more than 5 (five) consecutive days in the same classroom, he/she shall be paid in accordance with the provincial scale for his/her classification and experience and this rate shall be effective from the first day of the 5 (five) day consecutive period.

Salaries of Substitute Teachers. 2.1 A substitute teacher, holding teacher possessing a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate shall receive a daily salary of 1/197 of the bottom minimum of Class IV; a substitute teacher with a temporary certificate shall receive a daily IV on the provincial salary of $150.00 (one hundred and fifty dollars)grid. If a the substitute teacher teaches more than 5 five (five5) consecutive days in the same classroom, he/she classroom the teacher shall be paid in accordance with the provincial scale salary grid for his/her classification and experience and this rate shall be effective from experience, beginning on the first day of the 5 five (five5) day consecutive period.

A substitute teacher, holding a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate with a B.Ed. shall receive a daily salary of 1/197 of the bottom of Class IV; a substitute teacher with a temporary probationary certificate shall receive a daily salary of $150.00 137.50 (one hundred and thirty seven dollars and fifty dollarscents). If a substitute teacher teaches more than 5 (five) consecutive days in the same classroom, he/she shall be paid in accordance with the provincial scale for his/her classification and experience and this rate shall be effective from the first day of the 5 (five) day consecutive period.
