Salary allowance. Unit members granted academic leave shall receive one-half their regular salary during the specific period of leave if they agree to return to MCPS for a two-year period immediately following the period of leave and 60 percent of salary if they agree to return to MCPS for a period of three years immediately following the period of leave .
