Salary Placement and Promotional Placement. 11.3.1 Current Saint Xxxx Public School employees who promote to and within positions covered by the Saint Xxxx Supervisors Organization shall be placed on the step within the salary grade for the promotional title that results in at least a five percent biweekly salary increase over their previous assignment. 11.3.2 Current Paint Xxxx Public School employees who promote to and within positions covered by the Saint Xxxx Supervisors Organization may be placed at a step resulting in a greater than five percent pay increase at the sole discretion of the employer. 11.3.3 Any step placement resulting in a pay increase greater that five percent must be approved by the Superintendent of Schools (or designee). Factors that will be considered in granting additional step placement will include, but are not limited to: A. Ability to attract or retain qualified employees in the title B. External market compensation comparisons
