Salary – Upon Reclassification – Higher Salary Scale. Except as otherwise provided herein, whenever a position is reclassified to a class that is allocated to a higher salary scale, the salary of the incumbent shall be as provided by Section 7.7 upon promotion if the incumbent is appointed to fill the position.
