Common use of Saturday and Sunday Holidays Clause in Contracts

Saturday and Sunday Holidays. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be treated for all purposes as the holiday and when a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be treated as the holiday. This applies only to employees who work a Monday through Friday schedule. For employees who work other than a Monday through Friday schedule, the calendar holiday will be observed as the holiday.
