Schedule Requirements for Submittals. Contractor shall obtain and shall submit all required Submittals (i.e. Shop Drawings, Deferred Approvals, Samples, etc.), in accordance with Contractor’s “Schedule for Submission of Shop Drawings and Samplesas required in the scheduling portion of the CSA at Article 9 and the Specifications (as long as the Specifications do not conflict with CSA. In the case of conflict, the conflicting provision shall be controlled by the CSA and the remaining specification sections shall be interpreted as if the CSA language is inserted) with such promptness as to cause no delay in its own Work or in that of any other contractor or Subcontractor but in no event later than thirty five (35) days after the Notice to Proceed is issued except in the specific cases noted as an exception as set forth below. No extensions of time will be granted to Contractor or any Subcontractor because of its failure to have Shop Drawings and samples submitted in accordance with this Article 15 and the Schedule. Each Subcontractor shall submit all Shop Drawings, samples, and manufacturer’s descriptive data for the review of the District, the Contractor, and the Architect through the Contractor.

Prior to submitting, the Contractor shall review each submittal for compliance with the Contract Documents and certify its approval by an approval stamp affixed to each copy. Submittal data presented without the Contractor’s certification will be returned without review or comment, and any delay resulting from such certification is the Contractor's responsibility.
