Common use of Scheduled Standby Duty Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Standby Duty. An employee scheduled on standby will be paid two (2) hours at straight time for the 24-hour period commencing daily at 8:00 am, Monday to Friday, inclusive; and four (4) hours at straight time for the 24-hour period commencing at 8:00 am on a Saturday, Sunday or paid holiday.
