School Activities Beyond Regular Hours of Day. Participation in school activities beyond the regular hours of duty shall be voluntary. A building administrator may, however, assign teachers to supervisory or chaperone duties for one such activity during each school year. Such assignments shall be made only after consultation with the teacher involved. When a teacher is assigned by the building administrator to such supervisory or chaperone duties outside of the school day, the teacher shall be paid at the rate per hour to a maximum of per event as follows: Unit members who volunteer for duty at compensated events shall be paid at the same rate. The District shall designate which activities are compensated. Assignment to non-compensated events will be on a strictly volunteer basis.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.

  • Regular Work Week The regular work week shall be any five (5) consecutive days, Sunday through Saturday, for a total regular work week of forty (40) working hours, subject to the applicable premiums where provided for in this Agreement. Notwithstanding the above, employees may volunteer to work schedules that fall outside of the regular work week of Sunday through Saturday and may do so, upon approval by the Company, and with no penalty cost to the Company, but with applicable premiums as provided for in this Agreement.

  • Personnel Selection Leave 35.6.1 Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process for a position in the Public Service, as defined in the Financial Administration Act, the Council shall grant leave of absence with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Council considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
