Building Administrator. As used in this Agreement, “Building Administrator” shall refer to building principal(s) or immediate supervisor to whom a member of the bargaining unit is directly responsible.
Building Administrator must be in writing, and must be filed with the building principal or other appropriate administrator within fifteen (15) days following occurrence of the grievable event, or within fifteen (15) days following the time when it was or could reasonably have been detected, but in no event later than (whichever occurs last): (a) ninety (90) days following occurrence of the grievable event, or (b) the end of the school year during which the grievable event occurred. The written grievance must:
Building Administrator. The grievant and, with the employee’s consent, the VESP may orally present a grievance to the immediate supervisor. If the grievance is not settled orally, a written “Statement of Grievance” shall be presented to the immediate supervisor within twenty (20) working days after the occurrence of the grievance or within twenty (20) working days from the time the grievant should have reasonably become aware of the occurrence of the events giving rise to the grievance, whichever is later.
Building Administrator. (i) The Forest Grove Community School shall have a building level administrator.
Building Administrator. Whenever the term "Building Administrator" (BA) is used, it is to include the
Building Administrator. For the 2013-14 school year, the building administrator of ACES shall be assigned by the RVSD District Administrator. Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, the ACES Governing Council shall select one or more lead teacher(s) to serve at ACES. The lead teacher(s) will oversee the day-to- day operation of ACES and will act as liaison to the RVSD and Governing Council to ensure the educational goals of ACES are met. When RVSD policy requires a decision to be made or an action to be taken by a building administrator, the lead teacher(s) and the building administrator for ACES shall determine all operational and policy decisions not determined by state law or this Agreement. For the 2013-14 school year, the building administrator will be fully funded by the RVSD. In the 2014-15 school year, ACES will fund the Teacher-Led position(s) with grant dollars and district funds if available.
Building Administrator a) An employee who believes she has a grievance shall first discuss the grievance within five (5) days with her building administrator in an effort to resolve the matter informally, and if such discussions do not resolve the matter, shall file a written grievance with her building principal within five (5) days of the time the grievant knew or reasonably should have known of the event or occurrence giving rise to the grievance, or the grievance shall be deemed to be waived.
b) The building administrator shall hold a conference with grievant within five (5) days from the filing of the grievance. The aggrieved employee and an Association Member shall be present at the conference. The principal shall render a decision in writing within five (5) days of the conference. Step 2 - Superintendent:
a) If the grievance has not been settled in Step 1, it shall be filed in writing with the Superintendent within five (5) days of the decision in Step 1. The Superintendent shall hold a meeting with the grievant and an Association Member to discuss the grievance within five (5) days from the date the grievance is received by the Superintendent.
b) Within five (5) days after such a meeting, the Superintendent shall submit an answer in writing to the grievance and the Association.
Building Administrator. The Commission shall select an individual experienced in the field of building management to serve as the Building Administrator, which selection shall be subject to approval by the County Board. The Building Administrator shall be an unclassified employee of the County and shall serve as the department head of the County Building and Grounds Department. The Building Administrator shall be responsible to the Commission to carry out the duties of the Commission under this agreement, as well as such other duties as the Commission may, from time to time, assign to the Building Administrator. The Building Administrator shall be respon- sible for the hiring, firing, assigning, supervising, and disciplining personnel involved in building operations and maintenance. All such personnel action shall be in accordance with the Lancaster County Personnel Rules and any applicable labor contract.
Building Administrator. The District superintendent will be TLCS’s building level administrator, and subject to the direction and control of the District Board of Directors. This administrator will be provided to TLCS by the District in lieu of direct funding per Section 5. of this Contract.
Building Administrator. PBCCS may employ a TSPC certified or registered building level administrator either full or part-time.
