School Elective Service Sample Clauses

School Elective Service. The School may, in its sole and absolute discretion, elect to engage UPMC to provide any of the following services (“School Elective Services”) which shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this Agreement provided that UPMC receives notice of this election pursuant to Section 12 herein; provided however, the School acknowledges and agrees that the School Elected Services are not part of the Services provided hereunder and thus the School may be billed outside of the Pricing Schedule for each School Elected Services selected by the School.

Related to School Elective Service

  • Compensation for Employees Employees shall receive compensation at the biweekly or hourly rate for the range and step or flat rate assigned to the class in which they are employed.

  • School Year Employees All hourly employees compensated under “Hourly Schedule A” and regularly employed for the hours in that position considered full time by the Employer for the school year.

  • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION PCA Article B.3 does not apply in School District No. 34 (Abbotsford).

  • REGISTERED RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN 1. In this Article:

  • Probationary Employee The term "probationary employee" as used in this Agreement refers to a full-time bargaining unit employee who has received a probationary appointment and is serving a period of probation.

  • Probationary Employees Employees with permanent status will not be separated from state service through a layoff action without first being offered positions they have the skills and abilities to perform within their current job classification within the layoff unit currently held by probationary employees. Probationary employees will be separated from employment before permanent employees.

  • Alternative Employment An employer, in a particular redundancy case, may make application to the Commission to have the general severance pay prescription varied if the employer obtains acceptable alternative employment for an employee.

  • TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.
