SCHOOL INVOLVEMENT LEAVE. Employees who are parents of school age children are encouraged to participate in school activities related to the education of their children. The employee may elect to use any personal or annual leave available. Leave without pay may also be used for these events. Except in cases of emergency, the employee will request such leave in accordance with leave procedures in this article.
