Common use of School Visitation Clause in Contracts

School Visitation. The Superintendent, without referral to the School Committee, may grant permission to professional employees to visit schools in the city or elsewhere without loss of pay when, in the opinion of the Superintendent, the best interests of the New Bedford Public Schools will be advanced thereby. However, not more than two (2) such visiting days may be allowed any professional employee in one school year, and any expenses incurred shall be paid by the professional employee requesting the permission.
